At Nidaros Foundation, we are committed to providing ongoing support to refugees not only during their first days of arrival but throughout their journey toward rebuilding a stable life.
In addition to our temporary housing program, we assist families and individuals who have secured independent accommodations. Once a week, our volunteers deliver essential supplies including toiletries, cereals, rice, canned food, baby food, diapers, and fresh fruits and vegetables. For those who are not yet financially independent, Nidaros continues to provide full material support to meet their daily needs with dignity.
We also recognize the importance of community and education, especially for refugee children. Nidaros organizes opportunities for socialization and learning at least twice a week, with the goal of expanding these efforts. These moments of connection offer children a sense of normalcy, hope, and joy during a time of great uncertainty. Activities include:
Outdoor and indoor play experiences
Cultural events and theatrical workshops
Polish language integration
Introduction to the educational and social life of Kraków
Your contribution directly impacts refugee families in need by:
Supplying weekly food and hygiene packages
Funding emergency medical and housing costs
Supporting children's programs and educational activities
Covering transportation for aid delivery and refugee relocation
Together, we can restore stability, build community, and create a better world, one family at a time.
