Meeting with the mayor of Kyiv, Volodymyr Klitschko 

Krzysztof Chawrona, President and Founder of the Nidaros Foundation, recently met with Kyiv Mayor Volodymyr Klitschko to discuss future collaboration aimed at improving living conditions for those impacted by the war in Ukraine. This important meeting reflects the Foundation’s continued commitment to strengthening humanitarian support and rebuilding lives in partnership with local leaders.

Under Krzysztof’s leadership, the Nidaros Foundation has delivered thousands of pounds of aid directly into Ukraine—supplying hospitals and field medics with essential medical equipment, providing food and hygiene products to families in crisis, and transporting refugees to safety in Poland. The Foundation also operates shelters for displaced women and children, offering not only safe housing but also emotional support and community.
